Via NUsearch: If we own the item you would like to check out but it is unavailable, you can request a copy from another library directly from within NUsearch. Sign in to your account, click “Get it” and select the ILL @NU link to request a copy.

Via WorldCat: If the item you’re looking for isn’t in NUsearch, check WorldCat to confirm that the item you’re looking for is available at other libraries. If you find it, click the ILL@NU button in the item record to place your request. You will need to be on campus or connected to the Northwestern VPN for the link to appear.

Manual entry via ILL Form: You may also fill out the ILL request form directly.
