In order to view McCormick Library collection materials in-person or request reproductions, all users must first register and create a user account. You may then use your account to request materials through the online catalog or the collection finding aid and to keep a record of your transactions. Our finding aids portal is a good place to start when looking for archival collections. When you have opened a collection's finding aid and selected an item from "Collection Organization" right-side collapsible menu, you will click the "Request" button near the top right of your screen.

Requesting a box

You need only request a box once, even if you want to view multiple folders in the box.

To request published special collections, you can search our catalog and select a title from the results. Once in the catalog record, you can click the "Request Special Collections" link under the "Get It" heading. You will be directed to our system where, once logged in, you can submit the request.

Be sure your request has a box number (if applicable) and other information matching the catalog information before clicking Submit.
