McCormick Library offers several options for researchers who are unable to visit our collections in person, including reproductions, virtual reference services, connecting you with local researchers for hire, digital collections, and digital exhibits.  We also have several travel grants available.

To inquire about scheduling a one-hour virtual reference session over Zoom or to inquire about researchers for hire, contact McCormick Library staff at specialcollections@northwestern.edu.

McCormick Library has several travel grants available for out-of-town researchers, no institutional affiliation is required.  Read more about McCormick Library's travel grants here and the John Cage research grant here.
